March 15th Titus2Talk

Ladies, please join us for an evening of Titus2Talks with our speaker, Rebecca Merson.

When:    Tuesday, March 15th, 2011

Where:    Uniontown Bible Church

Time:       7-9 pm

God has placed a message on Rebecca’s heart to share about women serving in ministry. Her topic will cover knowing when is the season to serve (and serve often) and knowing when it is okay to say “no”. Let’s examine scripture to see where God ranks serving in the order of our daily lives and responsibilities.

If you need help in prioritizing in this area, come out and let’s take a look at Proverbs 31 together. We look forward to a great evening of sharing, learning and friendship. Please join us and bring a friend!  All women are welcome.

Titus 2:3-5  3 Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. 4 Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, 5 to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.

Women’s Ministry Annual Christmas Tea

This is the last week to purchase tickets for the tea! You won’t want to miss this event.

Join us on Saturday, December 4th at 10:00 a.m. for the Women’s Ministry Annual Christmas Tea & Brunch at UBC.  We are excited to have Julie Coleman as our speaker this year. We hope you can slow down during the busy Christmas season to enjoy some holiday music and delicious food as we focus on our Savior.

If you love decorating for the holidays, we are  looking for women to host and decorate a table with their Christmas creativity. Sign up at the Kiosk on Sunday mornings.   Tickets for the tea are $8.00 per person and can be purchased between services, and after the last service.

This is the perfect opportunity to invite a friend or coworker to hear about the real reason for the season.

If you have any questions, contact one of the members of the Women’s Ministry team.  Just click on tab at the top of the page “The Team”.

Merry “almost” Christmas.

Your opinion matters

We thank God for his provision for our safety and being such a god of timing that we were able to stay home with our families when we lost Lara.

We need your input on rescheduling this retreat. We will be calling on Monday. These are certainly not the same ideal conditions and so we need your input. We need to also know who absolutely requires a motel style room. There may be some who signed up for motel style for the Feb weekend, but would be willing to take bunk style for a new weekend. You may vote below as well as leave any comments below. The poll will only allow you to vote once. If you need to vote on behalf of someone who does not have internet access, please email kim@kimberlybrooke.com for details of how to do that.
